It provides L+R line input, left and right line outputs with level control, and four headphone outputs. You can convert the stereo signal SUM to mono, adjust each headphone level separately, and mute the rear panel monitor output while keeping the headphone output dynamic. Therefore, although HP4 is easy to set up and use, it has all the features needed to create a multifunctional headphone system.

The compact HP4 can be placed on a desktop or screwed onto a standard rack tray (rack accessories not included), and only requires one-third of the rack space. If your requirements are higher, you can use a line output stage to connect a second HP4 or larger HP60 headphone amplifier.
